Olifest Ticket Terms

# Olifest Ticket Purchase Terms

*Last updated: 07/2026*

These Ticket Purchase Terms (“Ticket Terms”) govern every ticket purchase
made through the Olifest platform (app and website). They form an integral
part of, and apply in addition to, the Olifest Terms of Service. By
completing a ticket purchase you confirm that you have read, understood and
fully accepted both these Terms and the Terms of the relevant event
Organizer.

## 1. Olifest’s role

1.1. Olifest acts as a **technology platform and technical intermediary**
that enables Organizers to offer tickets and users to purchase them
electronically. Olifest **is not the organizer** of the events, is not the
seller of the event’s services, and is not responsible for the event’s
delivery, quality, safety or cancellation.

1.2. Your counterparty regarding the event and the ticket itself is the
**Organizer**. Olifest provides solely the technical infrastructure for
issuing, delivering, validating (QR scanning) and collecting the ticket
price on behalf of the Organizer.

1.3. Each Organizer publishes its **own Ticket Sales Terms** (cancellation,
refund, entry and safety policy, etc.), which are displayed during the
purchase process and which you accept separately. In case of conflict
between these Terms and the Organizer’s Terms, on the specific matters of
the event (cancellations, entry, refunds) the **Organizer’s Terms prevail**,
provided they do not contravene mandatory law.

## 2. The Ticket

2.1. Each ticket constitutes a personal admission license to the specific
event for which it was issued. The purchase is also subject to any special
terms stated on the ticket or on the event page.

2.2. The ticket is provided in electronic form and carries a unique code /
QR code. To enter the event you simply present the QR code from the app,
your email, or printed, so it can be scanned by the authorized staff.

2.3. Each ticket’s QR code is valid for **one (1) admission only**. Only the
first scan counts; after the first validation the ticket is voided and any
further use or copy (photocopy, screenshot, etc.) becomes invalid.

2.4. The ticket is **personal**. Resale, commercial exploitation, or use in
competitions/promotions without the Organizer’s express written permission
is prohibited. The first person presenting a valid ticket is deemed its
lawful holder.

2.5. Neither Olifest nor the Organizer is liable if the ticket is stolen,
lost, copied or used by a third party without your knowledge.

2.6. Presenting a forged or copied ticket may result in denial of entry and
criminal prosecution.

## 3. Payments – Viva provider

3.1. Ticket payments are securely processed by the licensed payment
services provider **Viva.com (Viva Payments / Viva Wallet)**, which is
supervised as an electronic money institution. Payment processing is
governed by Viva.com’s terms and privacy policy.

3.2. During payment, your card details are entered directly into Viva.com’s
secure (PCI-DSS) environment. **Olifest does not access, store or retain**
card or bank account data. Olifest retains only the data required to issue
and send the ticket (e.g. full name, email, phone) and the unique
transaction reference.

3.3. You must be the lawful holder of the card or account you use. Neither
Olifest nor the Organizer is liable for unlawful use of payment means or
for inaccurate details you provided.

3.4. The displayed price includes the value of the Organizer’s ticket. A
**service fee / platform commission** and any transaction costs may be
added, shown transparently before payment is completed. The final amount
charged is the one shown in the order summary.

3.5. A purchase is deemed complete only once you receive electronic
confirmation with your ticket(s). If no confirmation message appears or an
error/interruption occurs during payment, you must not repeat the
transaction before checking your email, and you should contact
info@olifest.com. Olifest is not liable for any loss arising from failure,
delay or interruption of the payment service for reasons not attributable
to it.

3.6. Invoicing: the tax document for the ticket value is issued by the
**Organizer** (and/or via the e-invoicing provider it uses), while any
service fee is invoiced by Olifest. The relevant documents are sent
electronically to the email you provided.

## 4. Right of Withdrawal – Refunds

4.1. **Exemption from the right of withdrawal.** Under Article 3i(l) of Law
2251/1994, services related to leisure activities that provide for a
specific date of performance (such as purchasing a ticket for an event on a
specific date) are **exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal**.
Therefore, once the purchase is completed there is **no right of
cancellation, refund or exchange on the grounds of change of mind**.

4.2. Refunds in cases of event cancellation, postponement or modification
are governed by the **Cancellation & Refund Policy of the relevant
Organizer**. The Organizer is solely responsible for approving and
executing refunds.

4.3. Where a refund applies, it is made to the original payment method via
Viva.com, upon the Organizer’s instruction. Any platform service fee may be
non-refundable where the service has already been provided, to the extent
permitted by law.

4.4. No refund is given for tickets that have been lost, stolen, copied or
already validated (scanned) at entry.

## 5. Entry to the event

5.1. Rules on entry, control, safety and conduct within the venue are set
by the **Organizer** and the venue’s lawful operator. The Organizer
reserves the right to refuse or interrupt entry in accordance with its own
published terms.

5.2. Any age restrictions, suitability for minors, conditions for persons
with disabilities, security checks and other special terms are stated on
the event page and/or in the Organizer’s Terms.

## 6. Liability

6.1. Olifest provides the platform “as is” and “as available”. It does not
warrant the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform or of
third-party payment systems.

6.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olifest is **not liable** for:
cancellation, postponement or modification of an event; its delivery,
quality or safety; injuries or damages at the venue; acts or omissions of
the Organizer; lost profits or indirect damages. Liability for the above
rests solely with the Organizer.

6.3. In any event, Olifest’s liability, if any, is limited to the amount of
the service fee it collected for the specific transaction.

## 7. Personal Data

Processing of your data for ticket purchase and issuance purposes is carried
out in accordance with the [Olifest Privacy Policy] and Regulation (EU)
2016/679 (GDPR). Certain data (e.g. full name, email) is shared with the
Organizer as data controller for the event, and with Viva.com for payment
execution.

## 8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. The
courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any
mandatory consumer rights.
